Watermark on PDF
Put text or a logo on pages: in the center, in a corner or tiled. With a preview and an “Anti-leak” mode for distributing documents.
What the tool can do
- Text watermark with Cyrillic: ready-made labels “CONFIDENTIAL”, “DRAFT”, “COPY”, “SAMPLE” or your own multi-line text.
- Image watermark: upload a PNG or JPG logo. PNG transparency is kept.
- Placement: centered, in any of eight positions along the edges, or tiled across the whole page. Transparency, rotation and the gaps between marks are adjustable.
- Substitutions {date}, {time}, {file}, {page}: on each page the mark gets its own date, file name and number.
- The “Anti-leak” button places a small, inconspicuous tile pattern with the recipient's name and the date. If the document ends up in the wrong hands, it will be clear which mailing it came from.
- The “under the page text” mode applies the mark with color multiplication: dark text stays readable.
The mark is added on top of the page; it is not protection against removal. To protect against copying and editing, use the “Protect PDF” tool.
The original file is not changed: you download a new copy.
