Hash Generator: MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512

A hash of your text with all algorithms at once, HMAC with a key, checksum verification and a clear demonstration of the avalanche effect.

What the tool can do

Six algorithms at the same time: MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, CRC32.
HMAC with a secret key for verifying the signatures of webhooks and APIs.
Output in hex (lowercase and uppercase), Base64 and URL-safe Base64; input as text, hex or Base64.
The “each line separately” mode gives a table of hashes for lists and can be copied into Excel.
Verification: paste the expected hash and you will find out whether it matches; from its length we will work out the algorithm.
The avalanche effect: we change one bit and show that about half of the hash bits are different.

MD5 and SHA-1 are considered outdated for protecting data and passwords: use them for checksums and compatibility, and use SHA-256 or higher for security. Storing passwords requires special algorithms (bcrypt, Argon2), not ordinary hashes.
