Unix Time Converter
Timestamp ↔ date, detection of seconds versus milliseconds, one time in all time zones and ready code for different languages.
What the tool can do
- The time unit is detected automatically: seconds, milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds.
- Any time zone from the IANA database, taking daylight saving time into account for the chosen date.
- One moment in all time zones at once — handy for scheduling meetings.
- Bulk conversion: paste a column of timestamps and copy the table.
- Examples of how to get the same time in JavaScript, Python, PHP, Go, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Bash and C#.
- A warning about the year 2038 problem for 32-bit systems, the ISO week and the day of the year.
Unix time is the number of seconds that have passed since January 1, 1970 (UTC). It does not depend on the time zone, which makes it convenient for storing moments in time.
