Character, Word and Line Counter
Paste a text and you instantly see the number of characters, words, lines, paragraphs, the reading time and social network limits.
What the tool can do
- Characters with and without spaces, words, lines, paragraphs, sentences, unique words.
- “Selection only” mode: only the fragment you selected with the mouse is counted.
- Platform limits with a gauge: X, page title and description, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube.
- Exact calculation of SMS parts: Cyrillic, emoji and CJK characters switch the encoding to 70 characters.
- Emoji and composite characters count as one visible character.
- A word frequency table with density in percent and a filter for stop words.
The text is not sent to a server: counting happens right in the browser, so you can check drafts and personal notes.
Reading time is estimated at 200 words per minute, reading aloud at 130, typing at 40.
