JSON: Format, Validate and View
Paste JSON and get indentation, an error highlighted at the exact spot, a tree, JSONPath queries and ready TypeScript types.
What the tool can do
- An error is shown with a line and position and a pointer to the exact character; the “Go to error” button puts the cursor there.
- Large numbers stay as they are: 12345678901234567890 does not turn into 12345678901234567000 as in ordinary formatters.
- A warning about duplicate keys: JavaScript silently loses all values except the last.
- “Repairing” almost-JSON: comments, single quotes, unquoted keys, trailing commas, Python's True/None.
- A tree with expanding and one-click path copying; JSONPath queries with filters and slices.
- TypeScript types from a sample of your data, key sorting, escaping of non-ASCII, packing JSON into a string and back.
The data is processed in your browser and sent nowhere, so you can check configs and API responses containing tokens.
For JSON Lines files (one object per line) the format is detected automatically.
