Find and Replace in Text

Replace plain text or regular expressions, build chains of rules and save sets for reuse.

What the tool can do

Rule chain: several replacements run in turn, and the order can be changed.
Regular expressions with $1 groups, named groups and match highlighting.
Case control in the replacement: \U…\E, \L…\E, \u and \l, as well as “keep the case of the match”.
Rule sets are saved in your browser and are available next time.
Protection against “hanging” expressions: a heavy rule is interrupted after two seconds.

Expressions run in a separate thread, so the page will not freeze even with a bad pattern.
