Sign PDF
Draw a signature, type it or upload a photo, place it on a page and save. Initials on every page and a document fingerprint in one click.
What the tool can do
- Three ways to create a signature: draw with a mouse, finger or stylus; type a name; upload a photo of a signature on white paper. In a photo the background becomes transparent, and you can choose the ink color.
- Signatures are remembered in your browser (optionally) and placed with one click. They are not sent to our server: they are stored only on your device.
- The signature, date, full name and job title can be moved, resized and copied to other pages.
- Initials: a small signature at the bottom of every page except the last, where the full one goes. Position and size are adjustable.
- An optional document fingerprint: under the signature, the date and the SHA-256 checksum of the original file are placed. It can later be used to verify that exactly this file was signed.
- A document of any size can be signed; rotated pages are supported.
This is a graphic signature: an image on the page, not a qualified electronic signature. For documents where the law requires a qualified signature, a certificate and special software are needed.
The SHA-256 fingerprint is calculated from the original file before signing. You can check it with the “File Hash” tool on our site.
The original file is not changed: you download a new copy.
