CSV Viewer and Editor
Open a CSV or TSV, edit it like a spreadsheet, look for problems in the data and save to CSV, JSON, SQL or a real XLSX. The file never leaves your browser.
What the tool can do
- It detects the encoding (UTF-8, Windows-1251, KOI8-R and others) and the delimiter itself, and if it guesses wrong, you can choose manually.
- Editing like in Excel: arrows, Tab, Enter, copying and pasting blocks, undo and redo. Large files scroll without lag.
- The “Data problems” section shows extra spaces, empty and duplicate rows, and numbers with different decimal separators, and fixes them in one click.
- Fixes garbled text when UTF-8 was opened as Windows-1251 (“Привет” turns back into “Привет”).
- Column profile: type, empty values, unique values, minimum, maximum, mean, median and frequent values with a chart.
- Export to CSV with a BOM for Excel, JSON, JSON Lines, Markdown, HTML, SQL INSERT and a real XLSX with a frozen header and a filter.
The data is processed only in your browser. For very large files (hundreds of megabytes) your device may run out of memory.
Sorting and filtering do not change the table until you click “Make the order and filter permanent”.
